Cushman Library’s Book Discussion Group has been meeting around the big table for decades. We now meet one Monday each month from 6:30 to 7:30, choosing a date that works best for the most people. Historically, participants have taken turns choosing what books we will discuss, including all genres in the mix. We’ll get back to that as things settle down. During COVID we have been meeting via Zoom, which has actually been quite fun, with friends from other states joining us while proximity did not limit participation.
Our next book is Dorothy Gilman’s The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax, which we will be discussing in the “Zoom Room” on Monday, December 13th from 6:30-7:30. We have several copies available at the circ desk, so come and get yours! If you decide you would like to join us for discussion, just let Karen know and she will e-mail you the Zoom link.
Any adult is welcome to join this group. Just get a copy of the book and show up at the table!
Save the Dates! Our December discussion of The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax by Dorothy Gilman will take place on December 13th from 6:30-7:30.
Our January discussion will feature The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi on January 24th.
The date is to be announced for our February discussion of Charles Martin’s The Water Keeper.
